  11            <td width="84%" valign="top" class="data">Mambots are essentially code snippets which when called via various parameters either activate a program, script or perform a specific function. They can be as simple as a function which replaces typed text with code (such as typing to display an image in a Content Item) to full fledged third party libraries (such as WYSIWYG editors or other programs). Mambots are divided into 5 types/categories that may be displayed by filtering in the filter field:

  19  <strong>Display Columns: </strong>
  20            <ul><li></li><strong>Mambot Name: </strong>This lists the names of
  21                 the Mambots currently installed. Click the name to edit any of
  22                 the mambots.

  24                      <li><strong>Published: </strong>This shows whether the Mambot
  25                           is published or unpublished. Click on the icon if you
  26                           wish to toggle its state.</li>
  27                      <li><strong>Reorder:</strong>&nbsp; Click
  28                           the arrow icons to move the item up or down in the list.
  29                           This has no effect on the Front-end of your site.&nbsp; You
  30                           only reorder to help you organize your list of mambots
  31                           in the Back-end.</li>
  32                      <li><strong>Order: </strong>This shows the order of Mambots
  33                           in relation to other Mambots of the same type. Type&nbsp; the
  34                           new numbers in the order that you wish your mambots
  35                           to appear in the Back-end. You can change the order
  36                           any two or more mambots at the same time.&nbsp; Click
  37                           the &quot;Save Order&quot; icon
  38                           next to the Column Heading &quot;Order.&quot; This has
  39                           no effect on the Front-end of your site.</li>
  40                      <li><strong>Access: </strong>This shows who can see or use
  41                           the Mambots on the Frontend of a Web page. Choose the
  42                           level of access by clicking the link to toggle through
  43                           Public, Registered and Special access. </li>
  44                      <li><strong>Type: </strong>This displays the type of mambot.
  45                           Types include editors, content, editors-xtd and search.</li>
  46                      <li><strong>File: </strong>This
  47                      displays the mambots filename</li>

  64                 <li><strong>Publish/ Unpublish: </strong>Click the icon to Publish
  65                      or Unpublish the Mambot.</li>
  66                 <li><strong>New:</strong>&nbsp; Click the &quot;New&quot; icon
  67                      to create a new Mambot. Then fill in the fields listed.</li>
  68                 <li><strong>Edit: </strong>Click the &quot;Edit&quot; icon to
  69                      change the settings as desired.</li>
  70                 <li><strong>Delete: </strong>Click the &quot;Delete&quot; icon.
  71                      This will uninstall it. WARNING: This cannot be undone. Deleted
  72                      Mambots cannot be restored as a &quot;Menu Item&quot; or &quot;Content
  73                      Item&quot; can. If you have deleted a Mambot and you wish
  74                      to use that Mambot again, you must re-Install the Mambot.
  75                      NOTE: Mambots essential to core operations cannot be deleted.</li>
