At anytime, you can return to it 15 by clicking the "Home" menu 16 item in the top menu bar. </p> 17 <p>Control Panel. has two 18 states: <strong>Simple</strong> and <strong>Advanced</strong>. In 19 Simple state, displays only 4 shortcut icons; Advanced 20 state, displays 11 shortcut icons</p> 21 <p>From the 22 Control Panel you can have easy access to 23 the frequently used parts of the Administrator area.</p> 24 <p><strong>Control Panel 25 Icons:</strong></p> <ul> 26 <li><strong>Help</strong>: Click this icon to view an 27 index of the locally available Help Screens. You can 28 also have access to special help screens by pressing 29 the help icon, found on the right top corner of each screen.All 30 Content Items: Click this icon to access the All 31 Content Items screen. All Content Items, lists 32 all of your Content Items. Clicking on a Content Item, 33 you can edit it.Static Content Manager: 34 Click this icon to access the Static Content Manager. You 35 will be able to edit these type of items.</li> 36 <li><strong>Frontpage</strong>: Click this icon to 37 access the Front Page Manager. You will be able to edit Content 38 items that appear on your Frontpage.</li> 39 <li><strong>Sections</strong>: Click this icon to 40 access the Section Manager. You will be able 41 to edit your Sections.</li> 42 <li><strong>Categories</strong>: 43 Click this icon to access the Category 44 Manager. You will be able to edit 45 your Categories.</li> 46 <li><strong>Media</strong>: 47 Click this icon to access the Media 48 Manager. Tou will be able to administer 49 your media files.</li> 50 <li><strong>Trash</strong>: Click this icon to 51 access the Trash manager. You will be able 52 to delete permanently or to restore any items in 53 the Trash Manager.</li> 54 <li><strong>Menus</strong>: Click this 55 icon to access the Menu Manager. You will be able to edit 56 any of your menus. </li> 57 <li><strong>Users</strong>: Click this icon to access 58 the Users Manager. You will be able to add, 59 remove, administer users of your site. Global 60 Configuration: Click this icon to access the Global 61 configuration. You will be able to edit any of your 62 web site configurations.</li> 63 </ul> 64 <p><strong>On 65 the right side of the screen there are five 66 tabs: </strong></p> 67 <ul> 68 <li><strong>Logged</strong>: 69 This displays a list of users currently 70 logged on (both in the Admin and the 71 Frontend sections). Click a users' name to go to the User 72 Edit page for that user. </li> 73 <li><strong>Components</strong>: 74 Click this shortcut tab to 75 access any of the components 76 and component links 77 that you wish to edit.</li> 78 <li><strong>Popular</strong>: 79 Click this tab 80 to access the screen which 81 lists in order, the most popular 82 Content Items on your 83 site. This includes the date the 84 Content Item was created and the number of hits. Click 85 the Content Item name to edit that item.</li> 86 <li><strong>Latest Items</strong>: 87 Click this tab to access the screen which lists the 88 most recently added Content Items. This includes 89 the creation date and the author. Click the Content 90 item name to edit that item.</li> 91 <li><strong>Menu 92 Stats</strong>: Click this tab to access 93 the screen which lists all 94 menus and the number of item 95 links in each menu. The number 96 of links is the total created, not the total 97 published.
